The update aims to enhance software supply chain security, integrate artificial intelligence technologies into code review processes, and develop project management and audit tools.
"Astra Group" presented GitFlic 4.9.0 — a new version of the platform for code development and storage. Key changes include the integration of the CodeScoring (OSA) security scanner, which automatically blocks vulnerable packages, preventing their use in development. This is especially important for organizations with high security requirements, such as financial institutions and government agencies.
The platform has also learned to transfer code for analysis to AI models, displaying the results directly in the interface. This speeds up the code review process, reduces the number of defects, and allows developers to focus on more complex tasks.
The release features an improved interface, added filters for project search, and a new webhook history viewing panel, which simplifies auditing and event control. In addition, a link to the deployed environment is now available directly in merge requests, which speeds up change verification.
