MWS Data Copilot improves data work efficiency by providing quick access to information and reducing the workload on analytics teams.
The MTS Web Services team developed the AI assistant MWS Data Copilot, which simplifies access to business metrics. The product makes it possible to obtain and interpret data through a natural-language conversational interface.
As the developers explained, in large companies, obtaining data and preparing reports takes a lot of time, while analytics teams are overloaded with repetitive requests. MWS Data Copilot speeds up the process by allowing users to ask questions in free form and receive answers with specific data within a single dialogue.
The assistant operates on top of a data and metadata management layer, taking into account the business glossary, data structure, and data quality indicators. This improves the quality of responses and reduces the risk of reporting errors. MWS Data Copilot complements business intelligence systems and data warehouses, increasing the efficiency of existing platforms.
As explained by MTS Web Services CEO Pavel Voronin, the new tool lowers the barrier to entry for data automation for business users and executives. The solution makes it possible to process up to 30–40% of standard requests without analyst involvement, while the time needed to obtain information is reduced from one or two days to several minutes.
