The new version offers tools for working with terminal servers, support for RemoteApp technology, and managed synchronization of files and folders with virtual workplaces.
The company «Red Soft» has announced the release of the terminal edition of Red VPM, designed for centralized management of virtual workplaces in large projects. The new edition allows administrators to quickly deploy software, allocate computing resources, and support cross-platform operation.
Red VPM Terminal Edition supports remote access to servers based on Windows and Red OS, which expands data storage capabilities and reduces equipment maintenance costs. Users can connect to a virtual workplace from any device, regardless of the complexity of the task.
The product integrates two load balancer algorithms: «Basic» and «Advanced», which takes into account the load on CPU and RAM. The administrator can configure the behavior of the algorithm and receive up-to-date information about the load on servers through the built-in monitoring system.
Red VPM Terminal Edition supports RemoteApp technology, which allows you to run Windows applications in a window format on a virtual workplace based on RED OS. Users can move application windows between multiple monitors.
The Terminal Edition includes all the features of the Red Direct protocol, including support for smart cards, printers, disks, flash drives, microphones, audio and video devices, as well as folder synchronization via the protocol. The administrator can allow or deny the connection of local folders.
The product supports a cross-platform clipboard, allowing you to transfer files and copy text between a remote desktop and the current device. The administrator can manage the clipboard function.
