The new Rutoken MFA tokens are available to Aktiv company's partners and corporate customers.
Aktiv company has introduced a new generation of hardware FIDO tokens — Rutoken MFA NFC and Rutoken MFA C NFC. The devices have received a slim body and a built-in NFC module for working with smartphones and tablets.
The main innovation is the possibility of contactless authentication using NFC. To log in to protected applications or confirm operations, simply bring the token to a smartphone or tablet. As the company emphasized, this eliminates the need to use adapters or a USB connection, which is especially important for mobile work scenarios.
Rutoken MFA NFC supports USB Type-C (model C NFC) and USB Type-A (model NFC) interfaces, ensuring compatibility with workstations, laptops, and hybrid devices.
The new tokens are suitable for employees who actively use mobile devices to work with corporate cloud services, e-mail, VPN, as well as for clients of banks and government portals, where enhanced protection against phishing and account theft is required.
