This simplifies system certification and ensures stable application operation with limited access to external networks.
Softline Solutions has completed the preparation and testing of an import-substituted IT infrastructure for the 2GIS platform. According to press services,
this will allow Russian companies to more widely use the API and SDK tools of the geoservice in an on-premise environment.
2GIS tested API and SDK services separately on import-substituted components, including the OS, image repositories, and the "Botsman" containerization platform from the Astra Group. Separately, the team checked compatibility with Arenadata Group solutions: Arenadata QuickMarts (ADQM) DBMS, Picodata (PD), and the Arenadata Streaming (ADS) instant messaging system.
Softline Solutions acted as a technology consultant, organized the pilot project, and took over the coordination of all project stages. After successful tests, the specialists formed an MVP plan and conducted a comprehensive test of the entire platform on the new infrastructure. Now, customers have a ready-made solution with 2GIS geoservices that can be deployed on import-independent components.
2GIS explained:
Large businesses increasingly need geoservices for the digitalization of logistics and analytics that operate in isolated IT environments and meet the requirements of the FSTEC and FSB. Customers often solved such problems with cloud or open-source solutions, but they are limited in functionality and technological independence.
The next step is the local deployment of the "2GIS Pro" geoanalytics service and increasing the fault tolerance of the infrastructure when working with increased loads.
