Russian computer equipment manufacturer Rikor has announced the launch of a server line based on Intel Xeon Scalable Gen5 processors. The new products are designed to perform resource-intensive corporate tasks, including virtualization, cloud services, data analysis, and artificial intelligence.
The Rikor 7212DSP5 and Rikor 7225DSP5 servers support up to two Xeon Gen5 processors, up to 32 DDR5 modules with a total capacity of up to 8 TB, and provide twice the I/O bandwidth thanks to PCI Express Gen5. The company also highlights its own development and production of cases, which allows optimizing the design and offering unique solutions for optimizing internal space.
Rikor emphasized that the high level of localization ensures technological independence and economic benefits for customers. Boris Ivanov, Vice President of the company, noted:
Previously, Rikor was one of the leaders in the server solutions market based on Intel Xeon Gen2 and Gen3 processors. But today, businesses need more powerful and energy-efficient platforms. Entering the Gen5 market is a logical step that allows our customers to get a modern technological foundation with a margin for years to come. The capacity of our robotic plant allows us to quickly scale up the production of the new line and guarantee the stability of supplies.
