Key innovations include support for Basis Dynamix Enterprise, which speeds up the backup process and eliminates agent competition with virtual machine workloads for resources. New protection features for CommuniGate Pro have also been added, including support for multi-server cluster configurations and increased granularity of recovery to the level of e-mail messages and their attachments.
The update also includes support for current versions of the Linux operating system family, making «Cyber Backup Cloud» compatible with modern distributions. In addition, Kubernetes container environment protection has been added, which allows you to back up namespaces, configurations, and persistent volumes of the orchestrator.
The service functionality has been expanded with additions to the open software interface (API), which allows administrators to access an expanded set of functions, including working with data sources, backup plans and tasks, and viewing backups. The audit log now contains additional fields and attributes, which provides a more detailed view of security event information and allows IT and information security services to interact effectively.
