"VL-Bio" allows the implementation of biometric technologies in full compliance with the requirements of 572-FZ.
As emphasized by VisionLabs, this is the first solution in Russia with this class of protection to receive FSB approval. Usage scenarios include access to offices, educational institutions, enterprises, and construction sites, tracking working hours, hotel check-in, SIM card registration, passport-free service in banks and MFCs, baggage check-in, and border crossing.
The "VL-Bio" software and hardware suite allows secure connection to commercial biometric systems, the Unified Biometric System (UBS), and the regional segment of the UBS for biometric identification and authentication. The new VisionLabs product is aimed at large corporate clients. The company plans to deliver the first four suites by the end of the year.
The suite includes certified cryptographic information protection tools (CIPPT) and information protection tools (IPT), as well as equipment and integration software for connecting to biometric systems, various access control and management systems (ACMS), and terminal equipment (biometric terminal or camera).
