The free service collects and analyzes errors in mobile applications, and now it will also help developers troubleshoot website failures.
Technical specialists can track errors, freezes, and failures in IT services in real time. When problems arise, the service provides a detailed report indicating specific dependencies, sections, and modules, and an AI model analyzes the data and identifies possible causes of the error. Developers save time searching for errors that cannot be detected during testing and receive ready-made recommendations for troubleshooting.
The Tracer service from VK is used by the holding's products — OK, RuStore, Zen, VKontakte, Mail — as well as developers from large Russian companies — Wildberries, 2GIS, Superjob, Okko, SBP, and others. The service is available for integration at apptracer.ru. Kirill Popov, head of the Tracer project, explained:
A significant portion of people continue to use the internet on a computer or laptop, so the web platform remains one of the key ones for developers. With the launch of Tracer for websites, we cover most of the needs of our fellow developers — now monitoring mobile and browser versions of the same product can be performed in a single service.
