The Russian manufacturer of server and network equipment «DataRu Technologies» announced the launch of the «DataRu VM» series of general-purpose servers designed for high-load corporate and cloud environments. The new servers feature increased performance, energy efficiency and support for modern technologies, making them a promising solution for data centers and digital transformation of business.
The «DataRu VM» line includes single- and dual-processor models in 1U and 2U form factors, which allows you to flexibly scale the infrastructure for various tasks. The servers are based on 6th generation Intel Xeon processors (Sapphire Rapids) and 5th generation AMD EPYC (Genoa), providing 45% more cores compared to the previous «DataRu PI» and «DataRu PL» series.
Thanks to this, the new servers demonstrate high computing density and are suitable for:
- Virtualization and cloud platforms
- Big data processing and machine learning
- Deployment of high-load corporate applications
To improve performance, «DataRu VM» uses DDR5 modules with a bandwidth of 6400 MT/s, which speeds up data processing. In addition, the company's engineers have optimized disk subsystems:
- Support for EDSFF (Enterprise & Data Center SSD Form Factor) drives based on PCIe 5.0
- +25% to storage capacity compared to traditional SFF solutions
- Up to 60% increase in drive speed
«DataRu VM» servers are compatible with 7th generation FC HBA adapters (64 Gbps), which makes them an optimal choice for:
