Корабль «Союз МС-26» с логотипом «Аквариуса» вышел в открытый космос

Aquarius, a developer and manufacturer of computer equipment and IT solutions, became one of the two Russian brands whose logo was placed on the outer surface of the fairing of the Soyuz MS-26 launch vehicle during the launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

The spacecraft was launched on September 11 at 19:23:12 Moscow time. As a result of negotiations between Aquarius and Roscosmos, the parties agreed on the possibility of placing the company's logo as confirmation of its contribution to the development of the domestic economy. In 2024, Aquarius celebrates its 35th anniversary since its foundation. During this time, the company has participated in the implementation of major government projects, such as: the All-Russian Population Census of 2020, the creation of infrastructure for the tasks of e-government and services for citizens and businesses in electronic form, the provision of computer equipment to government authorities of the Russian Federation. In the space industry, Aquarius actively cooperates with JSC "RCC Progress" and PJSC "RSC Energia", supporting leading developments and the project to create a Russian orbital station.

"Aquarius has a lot in common with the space industry: we are successors to the Soviet industry, we solve atypical problems, and we are actively involved in attracting qualified personnel to the industry. In addition, we are conducting joint projects with Roscosmos, since information technology plays a crucial role in the space industry. That is why the launch of the Soyuz MS-26 spacecraft with our name on board is the best gift for our 35th anniversary," commented Vladimir Stepanov, President of Aquarius.

Earlier, the media reported that the orbit of the International Space Station was adjusted to ensure the launch of Soyuz MS-26.

The Baikonur Cosmodrome is the first and largest cosmodrome in the world, located in Kazakhstan and is a restricted facility. The territory of Baikonur is 6717 square kilometers.
