As part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2024 (SPIEF-2024), the Aquarius Group of Companies and the government of the Leningrad Region signed a cooperation agreement in several areas at once. The document was signed by Alexey Kalinin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aquarius Group, and Alexander Drozdenko, Governor of the Leningrad Region.

VTB, together with Alfa-Bank, is implementing a pilot project to introduce the Open Banking standard on the platform of the FinTech Association. The companies announced this on the eve of SPIEF-2024. The new technology will allow customers to see all their accounts and products in one personal account and perform their usual operations there - for example, apply for a loan. The full transition to open interfaces in the financial sector is planned from 2026.
