A skill for the Alice virtual assistant has appeared in the beta version of the EKF Connect Home smart home application. Now you can control smart sockets, lamps, extension cords and luminaires from EKF not only through the application, but also with the help of Alice. You can also ask Alice about the status of sensors. For example, if there are temperature and humidity sensors, the virtual assistant will tell you the temperature in the room. The entire line of EKF Zigbee sensors works with Alice: leakage, motion, smoke, gas, opening, temperature and humidity.

Setting up synchronization of EKF smart devices with Alice is easy. To do this, you need to add a new device to the EKF Connect Home application, and then synchronize the EKF Connect Home Beta and "Smart Home with Alice" applications. After that, the devices added to EKF Connect Home will work with the virtual assistant.

Most EKF sensors with the Zigbee protocol can work with Alice not only through the EKF Zigbee hub and the EKF Connect Home application, but also directly with Yandex hubs. In this case, the devices must be connected directly to the "Smart Home with Alice" application. An up-to-date list of EKF devices with the Zigbee protocol that work in this way can be found on this page

EKF Connect Home is EKF's own development, which is part of the EKF Connect software product ecosystem. The EKF Connect Home mobile smart home application combines various EKF smart devices installed both in the apartment and in the switchboard. The application can be downloaded for free from the App Store or Google Play.
