In December, the country's largest dry cleaning chain celebrates its 30th anniversary.
"The history of Diana began in 1993 with a single factory on Poklonnaya Street in Moscow. All these years we have been actively developing and expanding. And today the chain consists of 20 dry cleaning enterprises in Moscow, the Moscow region and regions of Russia, and more than 600 receiving points," - noted the General Director of the Diana dry cleaning chain, Elena Markevich.
The expert emphasized that the number of services is constantly expanding: from dry cleaning and minor repairs to dyeing textiles, ozonation, eco-cleaning of fur and rental of a fur refrigerator. At the same time, dry cleaners today operate using global technologies: eco- and bio-cleaning, aqua cleaning and cleaning in silicone and hydrocarbon, as well as classic cleaning in perchloroethylene are used.
"The situation in the world has prompted us to create domestic professional chemicals and equipment for the industry. Last year, together with a Russian company, we developed a modern hydrocarbon solvent for dry cleaners. And this year we were engaged in improving professional equipment for aqua cleaning: we developed unique software and technologies. And in October, we presented a new series of washing-extracting and drying machines together with the Vyazemsky Machine-Building Plant," - said Elena Markevich.
According to experts, domestic equipment not only speeds up the cleaning process by almost 2 times, but also makes the cleaning itself even more gentle.
"It is enough to turn on a certain aqua cleaning program, and the machine does the rest itself. And this is extremely important. We not only exclude the human factor in production, but also free up the hands of specialists for more complex tasks," - explained the representative of the Network.
With the departure of foreign brands from the Russian market, the choice of household chemicals for the home has noticeably narrowed, experts say. This niche is gradually being occupied by Russian companies.
"Diana produces a wide range of household chemicals under its own brand. At the moment, there are 10 products for washing and cleaning. We continue to actively develop this direction," - noted Elena Markevich.
