Russian brand Digma announced the start of sales of the first devices from the Digma Pro series, produced in the country. The first localized models were the Cursus 15.6" laptop and the Unity 27" all-in-one PC.
As explained by the company, moving assembly to Russia is a response to the growing demand from the corporate and public sectors for domestic electronics. This allows institutions to participate in import substitution programs, and also provides accessible service and prompt repairs. Andrey Monaenkov, Head of Procurement at Digma, emphasized:
For us, assembling devices in Russia is not only a matter of logistics and economics, but also a direct response to our customers' expectations. We see how important production localization is for the market, especially in the educational and corporate segments, and we are doing everything to offer them reliable equipment at a predictable price with accessible service here and now.
According to brand representatives, production localization allows optimizing device costs and controlling component quality. The first devices to come off the assembly line were the popular Cursus 15.6" and Unity 27" models, which are positioned as universal solutions for work and study.
