The Yandex Direct team has implemented artificial intelligence to manage campaigns with bloggers in Max and Telegram. Now, advertisers can optimize impressions for specific business goals, such as purchases or registrations, and algorithms will independently select the most effective channels to increase conversion within a given budget.
The service operates on Yandex Neuro Ads neurotechnology. The system analyzes audience engagement and user behavior in real time, learning for each advertiser individually to more accurately select channels.
As explained by Yandex, this step aligns with the growing popularity of influencer marketing. According to the "Internet Commerce in Russia 2026" study, 57% of respondents consider it the main tool for brand building. By the end of 2025, the volume of this segment in Russia reached 81 billion rubles. To date, AI already manages 85% of advertising budgets in Direct.
Oleg Ivanov, Director of New Advertising Products Development at Yandex Advertising Network, explained:
The advertiser retains full control over placement: they set campaign goals, budget, and other restrictions, and the algorithms independently find the most effective channels and manage bids within these frameworks. Payment is only made for actual user clicks on ads.
