The Squadus 26.1 release brings updated team collaboration logic and the "VIP" role.
Russian IT company MoyOfis has released a new version of the corporate messenger Squadus 26.1, which improves the organization of workplace communication and protects executives from information noise.
The update redesigns navigation and the section structure: channels are displayed in the general chat list, grouped by teams. Users can collapse sections and change their order, as well as view unfinished messages in the "Drafts" section.
The "VIP" role has been introduced to protect key employees from unwanted contacts and accidental mentions. Users without the "Interaction with VIP" permission cannot send private messages, mention, or add VIP employees to chats. At the same time, VIP users can freely communicate with each other and initiate conversations with colleagues.
Administrators now have access to a function for forcibly terminating all active user sessions, which increases security and control. The option is used when an employee leaves the company, when account credentials are suspected of being compromised, or in cases of unauthorized access. A local administrator terminates only Squadus sessions, while a single sign-on (SSO) administrator terminates all sessions, including other corporate services.
