The standards describe a unified information model, including a common set of rules and terms for the interaction of robots and control systems (RMS). This will unify the "language of communication" between robots and control systems.

The technical documents were prepared taking into account the specifics of the Russian robotics market and the opinions of industry representatives: manufacturers, integrators, and end customers. The development of the standards involved the technical committee for standardization "Robotics", the subcommittee "Industrial Robotics", the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Rosstandart, and the Institute for Standardization. Yandex emphasized:

Thanks to the standards, vendors and integrators will be able to create solutions that are compatible with each other and spend less time developing for each client. This will lead to the emergence of mixed parks of robots in enterprises - with technologies from different manufacturers. As a result, companies will be able to implement new robots faster, and automation costs will decrease.
