An advanced system of repository ratings and individual awards has also become available. Now, the rating of repositories will be formed not only based on the number of votes cast for them, but also taking into account the degree of user approval.
The system of individual awards for developers automatically tracks user activity - from publishing code changes and release releases to code reviews and participation in discussions - and awards achievements. Achievements are divided into the categories "Working with Code", "Contribution to the Community", "Mastering Tools", "Verified Experience". All awards are visible in the developer's profile. Award visualizations are created using YandexART diffusion models.
On August 16, simultaneously with the launch of the grant program, a project competition starts on SourceCraft. The authors of new repositories that gain the highest rating until August 31 will receive exclusive souvenir products.
