DivKit has a visual editor that allows you to develop interfaces without writing code — from ready-made elements, like in a constructor. Tools for working with forms and animation have also become available in the framework.
According to Yandex, DivKit has helped create more than 330 applications — including for companies such as X5 Group and VSK Insurance. The framework is also used within Yandex itself to develop key interface elements, such as the main screen of the mobile "Browser", as well as promotional screens, widgets, and stories in the mobile "Browser", "Shedevrum", "Travel", and "Yandex with Alice" applications.
Yandex is developing DivKit taking into account feedback from users and has added functions to the updated framework that they themselves suggested — for example, tools that simplify working with forms and animation. The framework also has support for local variables and user functions — this helps to create interfaces faster, avoid repetitions, and simplify code.
