Among other changes, release 7.3 separates UserGate SIEM and UserGate Log Analyzer into separate products, introducing a cluster architecture. Clustering within release 7.3 will optimize the performance of UserGate SIEM and UserGate Log Analyzer – the separation will reduce the load on resources and simplify configuration for individual needs.
As noted by Dmitry Chebotarev, UserGate SIEM Development Manager, UserGate SIEM historically developed on the basis of UserGate Log Analyzer, but with release 7.3, both solutions become autonomous products. Chebotarev explained:
