The new service will allow picking up unclaimed goods and returns from marketplace warehouses. To use the new option, the seller must submit an application in the marketplace personal account and provide the necessary documentation.
The service can initially be used at Ozon warehouses in St. Petersburg, and in the future, the option will appear in other regions of Russia and will become available on Yandex Market, MegaMarket, and Wildberries. Artur Shafiev, CDEK product manager, said:
According to CDEK's assessment, more than 30% of sellers not only supply but also pick up their goods from marketplace warehouses. This is necessary when there is an excessive stock of products, which arises due to a decrease in seasonal sales and the formation of illiquid inventory. In such a situation, it is important to distribute volumes to other platforms as soon as possible – this is what the new service from CDEK is aimed at.
