ВТБ внедрил российскую платформу по управлению закупками

Currently, about 6,000 employees of the VTB Group use the system, including all Russian divisions, as well as international branches and subsidiaries in countries such as Armenia, India, and China.

Thanks to the implementation of the new platform, the entire procurement process – from submitting an application to concluding a contract and publishing the necessary information – has been transferred from several different IT systems into a single information space. This has optimized the work of employees and increased the transparency of procurement procedures.

One of the key advantages of the platform is the ability to significantly reduce the time spent on routine operations. The entire system is built on a single technological stack, which allowed VTB to fully switch to import-independent data storage and user interaction technologies. An important technological element of the platform is the Astra Linux server operating system, which provides an increased level of security.

In addition, the new solution led to a 50% increase in the speed of procurement procedures. The system has already allowed for more than 100,000 procurement procedures and the conclusion of corresponding contracts.

Ilya Vetkin, Head of the Administrative Department, Vice President of VTB Bank, noted the importance of implementing the new system:

"A unified, modern solution based on domestic technologies ensures not only the progressive development of the bank's procurement function, but also the successful integration of the acquired financial structures within the VTB Group."

Nikita Rybchenko, Senior Vice President, Head of the Department of Technological Development of Bank-Wide Systems, also emphasized the significance of the project:

"An advanced technological platform for automating procurement management has been successfully implemented, meeting all legal requirements, which ensured a 2.5-fold increase in the number of users. In addition to the increase in the number of users, the satisfaction of internal clients has increased by 3.5 times."

VTB's project to implement a new procurement management platform was appreciated by the professional community. The bank won first place in the "Project of the Year Global CIO" competition in the "Procurement Management" category.

The "Project of the Year Global CIO" award has been held since 2018 and is one of the main industry events in the field of information technology and digital transformation in Russia. Winners are determined based on online voting by members of the professional community, as well as a comprehensive assessment of the scale, significance of the project and its contribution to the development of the IT industry.
