The "AQ PRO Time for Solutions" conference, organized by Aquarius, discussed production issues, current domestic demand, and what is needed for the development of robotics in Russia. Dmitry Titov, First Vice President of Aquarius, moderated the session.

In his speech, Ivan Kostin, Director of the Project Support Center for the "Labor Productivity" National Project and Investment Activities of the Ministry of Economic Development, said that almost 10,000 Russian enterprises currently have a need for high-quality and reliable robots. "But, first of all, it is necessary to improve the quality and reliability with high requirements of the robotization customer," Kostin added. He added that the task now is to form the correct model of both behavior and consumption in the field of robotics.

Olga Mudrova, Executive Director of the National Association of Robotics Market Participants, said that more than 4 million industrial robots are currently in use worldwide. "In Russia, about 19% of manufacturing industries have installed robots in their production processes, and this correlates with the world average. But in terms of quantity, it is still small, only 19 pieces per 10 thousand employees," she added. Mudrova noted that the national project for the development of means of production and automation, and the support measures being developed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, will allow manufacturers and consumers to more actively look towards robotization.

Evgeny Lipkin, General Director of "Ostek-SMT", noted that when talking about robotization, it is necessary to put production efficiency and economic aspects at the forefront. "The robot itself means nothing. Enterprises and industries must become competitive and reach target indicators of efficiency, cost, and quality," he added. Vladimir Khlebnikov from "Parus Electro" confirmed this with an example when a robot turned out to be less efficient than a human, and after several months of experimentation, "the robot had to be sold."

Andrey Zholobov, General Director of "SAGA Technologies", spoke about his experience in introducing robots into production. "Comprehensive robotization is a set of measures. A different organization of supply, maintenance, and related areas." The most important thing is that employees, "the head of the workshop, are passionate about this idea." Without this, there will be no effective implementation.

Svyatoslav Moroshkin, Managing Director of Sber's Robotics Center, spoke about Sber's work in the development of robots with artificial intelligence. "Such solutions will provide flexibility in the robot's operation, solve non-standard tasks, which dramatically increases their efficiency and productivity."

Timur Satdarov, Director of the Automation and Robotics Center of Innopolis University, said that "so far, robot welding is being implemented the most, this is the automotive industry." "Robots will never exist without people, a robot is an assistant to a person, not a replacement. There are a lot of solutions, but we don't know about them. We need education in robotics," he noted.
