Olga Mudrova, Executive Director of the National Association of Robotics Market Participants, said that more than 4 million industrial robots are currently in use worldwide. "In Russia, about 19% of manufacturing industries have installed robots in their production processes, and this correlates with the global average. But in terms of quantity, it is still small, only 19 units per 10,000 employees," she added. Mudrova noted that the national project for the development of means of production and automation, and the support measures being developed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, will allow manufacturers and consumers to more actively look towards robotization.

Timur Satdarov, Director of the Automation and Robotics Center of Innopolis University, said that "so far, robot welding is being implemented the most, this is the automotive industry." "Robots will never exist without people, a robot is an assistant to a person, not a replacement. There are a lot of solutions, but we don't know about them. Education in robotics is needed," he noted.
