ВТБ и мосметро начали открытый тест оплаты проезда через СБП

To activate the service, you need to go to the FPS subscription section in the "Moscow Metro" mobile application, select the priority bank where the account is opened, and confirm the subscription in its application. Registration is free, and the FPS subscription itself is perpetual.

To pay for the fare, simply open the "Moscow Metro" application on your smartphone, click on the QR code button and bring it to the reader on the turnstile. The fare for such payment is 61 rubles. You can pay for the fare using an FPS subscription at all turnstiles of the Moscow Metro and the MCC.

During the test, experts will check the operation of the technology on different devices and make the service even more reliable and faster.

"Moscow is one of the world leaders in the number of ways to pay for travel in urban transport. We not only launch innovative payment services, but also improve existing ones. Now the Faster Payments System is available in open test mode at all metro and MCC turnstiles. Passengers can once again return to the usual and convenient way to pay for travel with any smartphone. It is important that the FPS is a Russian technology that belongs to the Bank of Russia, which means it is absolutely safe and it is impossible to influence its operation from abroad. We will continue to introduce domestic technologies in the capital's transport on the task of the Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin," said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government for Transport.

"The development of high-quality payment services is a priority for VTB, and we consider it important to offer the user various payment options, leaving the final choice to him. As an alternative to bank cards, the Faster Payments System, which many people already love, is now available to passengers in open test mode. It is logical that we are introducing this method of payment in the field of passenger transportation, where a variety of payment scenarios is especially important," said Vadim Izotov, Head of Special Electronic Products Development and Support Department – Senior Vice President of VTB Bank.
