«ATMs have long established themselves as a convenient and accessible 24/7 alternative to a bank branch. We strive to make using them equally comfortable for both VTB clients and clients of other credit institutions, thereby expanding the boundaries of banking services in the country. Since the beginning of the year, the number of transactions using other banks' cards in our devices has grown by a third, and after the abolition of restrictions, we expect even greater demand for everyday transactions in our ATMs,» commented Deputy Head of the Service Tool Development Department – Head of the Self-Service Device Management at VTB, Sergey Panyushkin.
Holders of MIR cards from all Russian banks can still deposit cash free of charge at VTB ATMs. For contactless transactions in self-service devices, you can use the Mir Pay application and cards with an NFC chip (wireless data transfer technology for carriers).
Today, VTB has one of the largest ATM networks in Russia, with approximately 14,000 ATMs in more than 1,500 settlements.
Since February, VTB, Otkritie, and RNCB clients have been able to deposit and withdraw cash without commission at the ATMs of all three credit institutions. The creation of a unified park of self-service devices was the first stage of integrating new banks into the VTB Group. The number of available ATMs for clients is almost 20 thousand.
