The MTS Link team has expanded the capabilities of its AI assistant: now it can record meetings in third-party video conferencing services, prepare their transcripts and brief summaries. The materials are available in the platform's personal account.
When connecting to a third-party conference, the desktop application will offer to start recording. No additional bot is required: the conversation is recorded directly on the user's computer, so the list of participants does not change. If the internet connection is lost, the recording will be saved locally and uploaded to the system after the connection is restored.
Based on the processing, the assistant generates a summary of the discussion, highlights tasks and responsible parties, and also creates a full transcript with speaker separation. The materials appear in the "Past Meetings" section.
In addition, users can upload ready-made audio and video recordings to the "Files" section to get a transcript and summary. WAV and MP4 formats are supported, with a file size limit of up to 2 GB. There are no restrictions on recording duration.
In the future, the developer plans to add processing of in-person meetings. Transcripts and summaries of such conversations will be available through the mobile application and the meeting room application, and the materials will be stored in the personal account.
