KvadraOS Desktop supports applications for Windows, Linux, and Android

The solution is designed for a gradual transition to Russian software without a large-scale overhaul of IT infrastructure and abandonment of familiar work tools.

The OS supports web, Linux, and Android applications, as well as compatible Windows programs, including Microsoft Office 2016. For working with software requiring a full Windows environment, connection to virtual desktops is provided.

kvadraOS Desktop integrates with Microsoft Active Directory, VPN, and network resources. Security features include application isolation, trusted boot, data encryption, TPM 2.0 support, GOST cryptography, and multi-factor authentication.

The system is being developed as part of the Kvadra device platform, which includes computers, laptops, and all-in-ones. Joint development of the OS, hardware, and BIOS allows for pre-checking component compatibility and supplying devices with pre-installed software.

Along with kvadraOS Desktop, the company introduced KVADRA corporate storage, KVADRA Hello facial recognition login service, and a password manager. These solutions complement the Kvadra software ecosystem, which also includes the kvadraOS Mobile mobile OS.
