Baikal Electronics expanded its line of domestic Baikal-U microcontrollers and registered new models in the Unified Register of Russian Radio-Electronic Products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The family is built on the open RISC-V architecture with CloudBEAR processor IP cores. The flagship remains the Baikal BE-U1000 with two or three computing cores depending on the version and a frequency of up to 200 MHz. The line also includes four specialized versions.
The BE-U1000 in a bare-die package is designed for hybrid assemblies and compact modules. It received USB, SPI interfaces, up to 32 GPIO lines, two CAN, eight UART, and other peripheral blocks.
The BE-U1100 is made in a QFN48 package and is aimed at devices with a large number of SPI and GPIO, including industrial automation and data acquisition systems. The BE-U1200 also uses QFN48 and additionally supports USB, which allows it to be used in IoT devices, meters, and telemetry.
The BE-U1300 received an expanded set of communication interfaces and two I2S, making it suitable for equipment simultaneously working with distributed sensors and audio data. All presented models are available for order.
