Russian manufacturer of telecommunications and IT equipment Qtech has introduced a series of dual-processor servers based on 4th and 5th generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors. The lineup includes models QSRV-281200-G-R and QSRV-282500-G-R, designed for enterprise workloads, including databases, file storage, virtualization, and processing a large number of requests.
Both systems are housed in 2U enclosures and are installed in standard 19-inch racks. The servers are included in the Register of Industrial Products of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, which allows them to be used in projects with equipment localization requirements.
The differences between the models are primarily related to the disk subsystem. The QSRV-281200-G-R supports up to 12 3.5-inch drives and up to two 2.5-inch drives at the rear. The QSRV-282500-G-R is designed to accommodate up to 24 2.5-inch drives and two additional drives on the rear panel.
The servers are equipped with two Intel Xeon Scalable processors with a thermal design power of up to 350 W each and up to 32 DDR5 RDIMM/RDIMM-3DS modules. Memory frequencies up to 5600 MHz are supported. Remote management is provided by BMC/IPMI via a dedicated gigabit port, and for network adapters, there are two OCP 3.0 slots with a PCIe 5.0 interface.
