Yadro, a company part of “IKS Holding”, has updated its AI server G4208P G3 for resource-intensive enterprise tasks. The new configuration is designed to accommodate up to eight GPUs, each with power consumption up to 600 W, which allows for a twofold increase in computing density. The server is intended for training and fine-tuning AI models, as well as performing inference.
The updated version features enhanced power and cooling systems. A fully equipped server can operate at an inlet air temperature of up to 30 °C. This simplifies the placement of equipment in existing data centers without significant modernization of the engineering infrastructure.
The G4208P G3 supports accelerators from various manufacturers and classes. The configuration can be adapted to the models used, software environment, and nature of the load, and computing power can be gradually increased as tasks grow.
Yadro also tests servers under real AI workloads and publishes measurement results with descriptions of configurations and test conditions. This allows for comparing options by performance, latency, and computing cost before project launch.
The updated platform can be used for individual AI nodes as well as for building GPU clusters.
