IT service provider RTK-TSOD implemented a project to create a hybrid IT infrastructure for "TEK SPb". The solution combined the placement of the company's equipment in a data center and secure cloud resources.
The IT infrastructure of "TEK SPb" was moved to a Tier III data center. High-speed channels with GOST-compliant traffic encryption and hardware cryptographic protection tools were organized for communication with remote sites of the enterprise.
Two environments were used in the project. Customer equipment was placed in isolated racks with access control, video surveillance, and physical protection. Computing resources were moved to an attested IaaS segment. The architecture takes into account requirements for information and physical security, as well as personal data protection.
According to RTK-TSOD, the migration took place without interrupting production processes. The hybrid scheme allows "TEK SPb" to change the volume of computing resources depending on current tasks.
"TEK SPb" provides heat supply to about 16 thousand homes in St. Petersburg, where about 3.5 million people live. The company is responsible for 256 boiler houses, 235 central heating points, and more than 4800 km of heating networks.
