The results of engineering work in IT often remain within companies – in architectural solutions, reduced recovery time, and prevented incidents. The "Engineering Art" award aims to make such results public and give them industry recognition.
The award recognizes specialists responsible for the resilience of critical IT systems in Russian businesses. One of the key evaluation principles is cyber resilience, meaning the system's ability to withstand loads, continue operating under constraints, and quickly recover after failures and attacks.
The award evaluates specific engineering cases: how the architecture was designed, how the system survived a load, failure, or attack, how it was restored after an incident, and how protection was built.
Applications are accepted in six nominations: "System Architect", "Innovation Engineer", "Recovery Engineer", "Infrastructure Engineer", "Engineering Team Lead", and "Security Engineer".
Individual specialists, engineering team leaders, representatives of customers, integrators, technology companies, and internal IT teams of businesses can participate. Applications can be submitted for oneself or for a colleague.
However, the award focuses specifically on practical engineering results. The organizers do not consider marketing cases without measurable engineering content, presentation concepts without implementation, and applications not related to the resilience, protection, operation, recovery, or development of IT systems.
The program committee of IT Elements, which includes independent experts and top managers of major Russian companies in various industries, will serve as the award jury.
Applications are accepted from July 16 to August 31, 2026. Expert evaluation and final selection will take place from September 1 to September 8. The award ceremony will be held on September 9, 2026, in Moscow as part of IT Elements.
The general partner of the conference is "Infosystems Jet".
Winners will receive public recognition of their case and contribution, professional status as an industry benchmark, media promotion of their stories beyond the stage, and a place on the IT Elements engineering agenda, where practitioners, architects, and teams meet.
