The study involved directors and heads of IT departments of companies from various industries: financial, oil and gas, construction, transport, medical, retail, manufacturing, etc. They evaluated Russian vendors of software for managing dynamic IT infrastructure (SDI software) based on four parameters: developer of a wide range of digital products, experienced business partner for large companies, driver of domestic solutions, and active in media and the IT community. "Bazis" demonstrated the best results in each of these areas.
24.8% of respondents noted "Bazis" as a developer of a wide range of digital products, 24.4% as an experienced business partner for large companies, 30.2% highlighted its image as a driver of domestic SDI software, and another 31.1% attributed its activity in mass media and the IT community to the company's strengths.
According to the study, the most in-demand classes of infrastructure software in Russia today are data protection and storage solutions, virtualization platforms for workplaces, software-defined solutions for storage and networks, as well as platforms for managing virtual data centers, servers, and containers. These segments correspond to the key product areas of the "Bazis" ecosystem and confirm the relevance of a comprehensive approach to the development of Russian infrastructure software.
The results of the Association of Managers' study reflect the growing demand of the Russian market for mature and comprehensive solutions for IT infrastructure management. More than half of the surveyed companies increased their budget for purchasing infrastructure software in 2026: 31.8% reported an increase of up to 20% compared to 2025, and another 20.6% reported an increase of more than 20%.
Among the key tasks of IT infrastructure management, respondents most often named cybersecurity and the integration of heterogeneous systems – 26% each. The main barriers to implementing new software were the risks of business process disruption during the transition – 25.9%, the lack of necessary integration with related solutions – 25.6%, and the shortage of qualified personnel – 22.3%.
