The MWS TeamStream team introduced MCP Server, which provides AI assistants with access to the service's video library and workspaces. This was announced by MTS, whose subsidiary MTS Web Services develops the platform.
After the update, users can access video materials through familiar AI tools, development environments, and desktop applications. Instead of manually searching for recordings, it is enough to formulate a query: the assistant will find the necessary video, prepare a summary, transcript, a list of key decisions, viewing data, or a link to the recording.
The server also allows analyzing video materials using natural language queries, obtaining transcriptions, summaries, and statistics. Thanks to MCP, video content becomes part of the AI's working context, which can use meeting recordings, instructions, product demonstrations, and other documentation to prepare reports, reviews, and draft documents. The solution is designed for use in project management, marketing, HR, and other areas. According to Anton Gurin, MWS TeamStream Product Director, MCP support was another step in integrating the service into teams' daily workflows.
