"Basis" Developed Interactive Simulators for Infrastructure Virtualization Products

Interactive simulators are designed for "Basis" customers and partners, pre-sale engineers, system administrators and architects, as well as for aspiring IT specialists and students. The training will be useful for an initial introduction to the solutions or for gaining a basic understanding of the product before taking an in-depth training course.

The simulators implement the real interface of "Basis" software products with active buttons, sections, tabs, and other control elements. The user can sequentially perform the actions provided by the scenario, create individual objects within the virtual interface, and change settings. In just 15–20 minutes, one can get a general idea of the platform's logic and perform basic operations in emulation mode. This approach allows simulating real work without deploying software and connecting to a demo stand. They are available online at any time, do not require registration, and do not limit the number of users who can undergo training simultaneously.

The Basis Dynamix Enterprise simulator introduces the user to the full cycle of virtual infrastructure management and shows how its main objects are interconnected. It helps to master the platform's logic, create and configure virtual resources, monitor system status, and perform operations through the graphical interface and API.

The Basis Workplace simulator provides a holistic view of administering virtual desktop infrastructure. The scenario allows studying service and user session control, access and integration management, as well as the principles of creating and configuring virtual desktop pools.

The Basis Virtual Security simulator shows how to organize a secure virtual environment with centralized access management. The user learns to create domains, assign roles and permissions, configure event logging, and set up parameters for interaction with client applications.

The creation of interactive simulators is part of "Basis"'s overall educational program. It includes authorized IT courses that provide in-depth study of products, practical work in a laboratory environment, and preparation of specialists for independent administration of solutions. After completing the educational program, students receive relevant certificates, and after successfully passing exams, they can confirm the status of a certified "Basis" specialist.

"Infrastructure software requires full technical immersion, but not every user at the initial stage needs a multi-hour course or detailed study on a dedicated demo stand. Interactive simulators provide an opportunity to quickly get acquainted with the product, independently go through a basic scenario, and perform several practical actions in the interface. In a short time, the user gets an initial idea of the solution and can determine which areas they need to study in more detail," noted Irina Kuleshova, Head of the Training Centers Department at "Basis" company.
