"Signaltek" and "Raidix" presented Russian storage systems based on Raidix 5

The companies "Signaltek" and "Raidix" presented Russian data storage systems (DSS) for the corporate segment. The solution is built on two-processor Signaltek servers with fifth-generation Intel Xeon processors and Raidix 5 software.

The new DSS are available in configurations with 12 and 24 drives. After testing and validation, the system's scalability to 132 disks by connecting additional shelves has been confirmed.

The solution supports working with HDDs and SSDs, as well as file and block access protocols, including NFS, SMB, FTP, FC, and iSCSI, which allows it to be used for various data storage scenarios. Performance is ensured by RAM caching mechanisms and RAID array processing algorithms implemented in Raidix 5.

Among the features of the complex are support for configurations with one or two controllers, array reconstruction technologies, protection against hidden data corruption, and the ability to expand capacity without replacing the system. It is assumed that the solution will be used in government agencies, financial organizations, and medical institutions. The inclusion of the DSS in the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade register under the category of data storage systems is planned for the third quarter of 2026.
