"SberTech" presented an updated version of the Platform V Analytics platform for multidimensional analysis of big data. The new edition of the solution received expanded capabilities for scaling, processing large amounts of information, and analyzing business indicators, tailored to the needs of medium and large businesses.
One of the main changes was the support for storing data cubes and metadata in S3 object storages. This approach increases infrastructure fault tolerance, simplifies scaling, and accelerates data transfer between test and production environments without complex migration procedures.
After the update, Platform V Analytics can execute analytical queries directly to relational DBMS without prior data aggregation. The solution is compatible with analytical databases based on ClickHouse, which allows for faster report generation and multidimensional information analysis.
In addition, the platform now includes conditional formatting tools for reports to automatically highlight important indicators and detect anomalies. A "what if" analysis function has also been implemented, which helps model various scenarios and assess the impact of changes on key business metrics without adjusting the original data.
