The MWS Cloud platform (part of MTS Web Services) announced the launch of a new, high-performance storage class for its Object Storage service. The solution, positioned as the fastest S3 storage on the Russian market, is designed for tasks requiring minimal latency.
The new "warm" storage class is designed for high-load systems, including artificial intelligence projects, analytical platforms, and streaming data processing systems. According to the company's internal testing, it provides data transfer speeds of up to 1.8 GiB/s and a Time To First Byte (TTFB) of approximately 20 ms.
The service is based on NVMe drives, which ensures fast access to large volumes of information. The solution is fully compatible with the AWS S3 API and offers unlimited scalability. Users have access to standard object storage features: encryption, versioning, object lifecycle management, and flexible access rights configuration. To ensure fault tolerance, data is automatically replicated between two data centers. Payment is based on a pay-as-you-go model – only for actually used resources.
