ROSA "Control Center" Platform 2.6.0 Released

The Russian company NTC IT "ROSA" announced the release of a new version of the ROSA "Control Center" platform — 2.6.0. The updated version implements the ability to remotely connect to the user's current graphical session. This function allows system administrators to provide technical support, resolve incidents, and maintain workstations without physical presence. To ensure security, the connection is made by requesting a one-time password through a new tab in the platform interface or a special user application.

Another important innovation is the automation of the network inventory process. The platform is now capable of independently scanning the network, discovering new nodes, connecting them to the management system, and excluding already controlled devices. Administrators can set parameters for device groups, which simplifies commissioning and improves the accuracy of IT asset accounting.

In addition, version 2.6.0 expanded the capabilities for bulk operations with node groups, added templates for integration with corporate logging systems (such as Puppet Server and Rsyslog), and implemented a number of technical improvements. These include updating interface components, extending architecture support (including ARM64), and eliminating vulnerabilities, particularly those related to OS command injection and access rights bypass.
