"Yandex Browser" for Organizations Launched Active Cyber Threat Protection

"Yandex Browser" for organizations has implemented an active protection system capable of automatically responding to suspicious activity. The new tool analyzes browser events in real time and can independently restrict access to web resources or notify information security service (ISS) employees in accordance with defined policies.

IT administrators can independently configure trigger events. For example, if a remote access program is launched on an employee's device, the browser can automatically block corporate resources and clear data. It is possible to flexibly configure the response to incidents, choosing between completely blocking the page for the user and sending a notification to the ISS.

In addition, the security system now checks not only the URLs being opened, but also the IP addresses of the servers. If an IP address is associated with malicious activity, the page load will be blocked, and security specialists will receive an alert. This allows for proactive threat detection and protection of corporate infrastructure. The new features are available in the extended version of "Yandex Browser" for organizations with a valid license.
