Cloud.ru Builds Its Own Data Center in Moscow Region

Cloud and AI solutions provider Cloud.ru announced the start of construction of its own data center (DPC) in the Moscow Region. The launch of the facility, with a design capacity of 11 MW, is scheduled for 2027.

According to project documentation, the future facility will be able to accommodate up to 890 server racks with a load of up to 20 kW each and will comply with Tier III reliability standards.

Currently, the company operates an infrastructure of more than 45,000 units of equipment, leasing space in nine commercial data centers with a total capacity of over 60 MW. By the end of 2025, Cloud.ru's revenue reached 76.5 billion rubles, showing a 50% increase.

Cloud.ru's portfolio includes more than 130 infrastructure and platform services, the Cloud.ru Evolution public cloud based on its own technologies, certified infrastructure for hosting GIS and CII, the Cloud.ru Evolution Stack platform for private and hybrid clouds, and a digital environment for industrial work with generative AI — AI Factory.
