The MTS Web Services team announced the launch of a new tool within the TeamStream platform for distributed teams. The service received an embed player, allowing video content to be integrated directly into digital products.
Now companies can place training videos, instructions, and other video materials on their websites, internal knowledge bases, LMS platforms, and online courses. As explained by MWS, this eliminates the need for users to go to third-party resources, such as YouTube or Vimeo.
In addition, this approach allows maintaining a unified visual style of the service and keeping the user's attention, excluding distracting factors in the form of third-party advertising and recommendations. Anton Gurin, MWS TeamStream Product Director, noted:
Today, companies use video formats for training, onboarding, instructions, and customer support, so that the user can view the necessary material directly within the platform. The ability to embed video directly into the interface helps make these processes more convenient for the user and more effective for the business.
