Sber announced the launch of a new version of its AI assistant for programmers — GigaCode CLI. The key difference of the solution is its ability to work directly from the command line, making the tool independent of the development environment and operating system.
As explained by the company, GigaCode CLI is a multi-agent system designed for autonomous code generation and processing. The tool allows automating processes such as building, testing, refactoring, vulnerability scanning, and test writing directly from the terminal.
The main focus is on accelerating typical operations within organizations' secure perimeters. Sber emphasized that the local (on-premise) deployment of the system was a response to the requests of corporate clients from the banking, industrial, telecom, and public sectors, for whom data control and compliance with strict information security requirements are critically important.
An expanded set of large language models has also become available in GigaCode, with payment for them made in rubles.
