At the XXVI St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Positive Technologies announced a new solution for monitoring cyber resilience. The tool is designed to assess the level of protection of federal and regional authorities, as well as related organizations.
The developers note that modern cybersecurity often focuses on the level of individual companies, while to ensure stability, it is necessary to assess the security of the entire industry, including contractors and technological chains. The new product allows analyzing these connections, identifying vulnerabilities, and managing cyber resilience at the national and regional levels, laying a practical foundation for digital sovereignty.
The solution allows viewing critical infrastructure from the perspective of an attacker, "through the eyes of a hacker," to identify weak links in supply chains and assess the security of key business processes based on cyber test data.
Dmitry Serebryannikov, Managing Director of Positive Technologies, emphasized that heads of departments or regions need an objective picture: which organizations are most vulnerable and which measures have already had an effect.
According to the company's representative, the product will become an element of continuous control of readiness for attacks and will help systematize security management. It will provide an opportunity to evaluate the effectiveness of measures taken and form a plan to increase the cyber resilience of industries and specific organizations.
