The corporate communications platform Dion, developed by the IT holding T1, has introduced the "Smart Search" function, allowing users to quickly find information in video meeting recordings and protocols. The solution is based on RAG-search technology, which combines LLMs and transforms work discussions into a convenient knowledge base. The user asks a question, and the system finds the answer, shows the relevant fragment, and immediately directs to the moment of discussion.
The service includes search filters by time period, participants, and speakers. Currently, "Smart Search" is operational at VTB Bank, with plans to scale it to all users. "Smart Search" enhances the efficiency of the Dion protocol system, helping employees select discussions by context and find specific artifacts.
According to Roman Cherednikov, Director of the Dion platform project portfolio, "Smart Search" solves the problem of quickly finding necessary fragments of meetings and transforms the video archive into a full-fledged working tool for the team. Cherednikov explained:
Today, a significant part of work decisions is recorded in video format – during calls, presentations, and internal discussions. At the same time, the volume of such content is growing rapidly: in April 2026 alone, Dion users created and uploaded 65.4 thousand videos, almost twice as many as a year earlier. In such a massive amount of recordings, it is important for companies not to lose key agreements, decisions, and the context of discussions.
