Russian companies have gained the ability to rapidly deploy AI solutions on their own premises without significant capital expenditures. Yandex B2B Tech, in collaboration with Selectel and MetaMentor, has introduced the On-Premises AI-as-a-Service format. Within this solution, customers can rent GPU servers from Selectel with the pre-installed Yandex AI Studio platform and receive setup and integration services from MetaMentor.
As emphasized by Yandex, the key feature is the conversion of CAPEX (capital expenditures) into OPEX (operating expenditures), which allows companies to quickly launch AI pilots without purchasing expensive equipment. The solution is aimed at large banks and industrial enterprises that need to comply with strict information security requirements.
The integrated hardware and software complex includes: the Yandex AI Studio AI platform, GPU servers from Selectel, and implementation services from MetaMentor. Customers gain access to modern AI services and equipment while maintaining full control over their IT infrastructure.
Yandex AI Studio's functionality includes generative models, tools for working with data and files, file search, and visual interfaces for creating AI agents.
Selectel provides GPU infrastructure hosted on the customer's premises and takes on the tasks of equipment maintenance and updates. MetaMentor helps deploy the platform, configure interfaces, and integrate it with corporate systems.
According to a study by Yandex Cloud and AHD, the volume of the Russian market for on-premises AI-based platform software in 2025 was approximately 16 billion rubles. The new product will allow companies to accelerate AI implementation tenfold.
