The Yandex team introduced the new Alice AI LLM Flash neural network, optimized for solving business problems. According to Yandex, the new model outperforms GPT-5.4 mini in 56% of cases in terms of the quality of solving business problems, while retaining the advantages of the flagship Alice AI LLM model.
It will be in demand among banks, retailers, telecom operators, and other companies with a large volume of similar tasks where response speed is important. Artur Samigullin, Head of Yandex AI Studio platform, noted:
Yandex is entering a new market for itself with models created specifically for business needs. Alice AI LLM Flash will help Russian companies switch to Russian neural networks to automate work with huge amounts of data. The new model is our own development, which has undergone a full training cycle on Yandex data. It is comparable in cost to the closest Western analogue, GPT-5.4 mini, while we also ensure the security of processed data and stable operation in Russia.
Access to the open-source DeepSeek V4 Flash model with a context window of 1 million tokens has also been opened on the platform, which can be used to analyze large documents and solve complex multi-stage tasks. This model is one and a half times cheaper than the previous version, DeepSeek V3.2.
