Russian developer Postgres Professional has released an update to the ProGate platform, designed for data migration and replication. Version ProGate 1.2.0 implements security and auditing mechanisms, including event logging and web application protection.
A dedicated administrator interface for global system management has been introduced, along with a full UI for user and role management.
Additionally, ProGate now supports Oracle not only as a source but also as a target DB for replication. The procheck utility has become more convenient and independent, and the web interface has been updated to improve usability.
ProGate consists of three components: procopy for fast data loading, prosync for tracking changes, and procheck for data consistency verification. Management is performed via the command line and a graphical interface.
